She is also survived by grandchildren Kyle (and Michele), Kodi (and Bailey Gilligan) and Keith Giovannini and Kelli (and Josh Taylor), Alex (and Matt Taylor) and Joshua Feener, and great-grandchildren Aelyn, Daphne, Elowen, Felix, Isaac, and Elliot. Juliet, TN, her brothers William Spruce of Seattle, Washington, and Henry and Denise Spruce of Honey Grove, TX, and sister-in-law Sue Swaim White of Dallas, TX. She is survived by her daughter Sherry and husband Greg Giovannini of Bradford, AR, her son, Dennis Swaim, of Brooklyn, NY, her son-in-law Stan Feener of Mt. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dale, her second husband, Bill, her daughter Phyllis, her twin sister Georgia and husband Ralph Walker, and her sister-in-law, Judy Spruce. They spent wonderful years traveling, birding, researching genealogy, and enjoying their children and grandchildren. She was widowed in 1976, raised their three children, and worked at Texas Medical Association and at the Texas Academy of Family Physicians for many years. She graduated from Austin High School, attended the University of Texas and married her college sweetheart, Dale K. She grew up where LBJ library is now situated. Her parents moved to Austin, Texas, in 1940. She was born August 6, 1937, in Dallas, ten minutes before her twin sister, Georgia, to Alice V. Alice Spruce Swaim Meriwether passed away in her home in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 85 on April 22, 2023.
